I’m a forester, natural resource sociologist, and licensed plant dealer, helping landowners and communities understand, manage, and protect their property.
Three projects have kept me very busy during the past 15 years:
- College instruction in Natural Resource Conservation, Geographic Information Systems, Botany, and the Earth Sciences.
- Grow Auburn’s Trees! – a community forestry partnership for Auburn, New York that I support as community forester – check us out on FaceBook.
- DogWood Meadows, our family forest farm in Sterling, New York. Here I am restoring abandoned farm land, and building a native plant nursery and bio-shelter in Cayuga County’s Ag District No. 5.
Please join in the adventure, and tell me how I can support your work.
